Communication
Communication is important in insuring the bond between the home and the Program. We are available to communicate with parents through written notes, phone calls, e-mail, beginning and end of the day conversations and pre-arranged conferences. It is important that the director be notified when anything unusual happens at home or in any significant aspect of the child’s life. Occurrences such as: illness, temporary absences of a parent, marital separation, death, or change of employment may be upsetting to children, and the center is better able to provide support and assistance if teachers are kept well informed.
